Who is responsible
Tushar Tayal is the data fiduciary for this website — the person who decides what is collected and why. He is based in Tezpur, Assam, India, and the site is operated from India.
Questions, requests and complaints about personal data go to hello@tushartayal.com. That address reaches the person able to answer them.
What is collected
From the enquiry forms. When someone submits a speaking, training or business enquiry, the form collects the name, email address, organisation, and whatever is written into the message and event fields. Submitting a form is voluntary. The information is used to reply to the enquiry and, where a booking follows, to arrange it.
From the email list. Where someone subscribes, the list holds the email address, the name if given, the date of subscription, and a record of which emails were opened or clicked. Subscribing is voluntary and separate from making an enquiry — an enquiry does not add anyone to the list.
From analytics. Aggregated visit data: pages viewed, approximate location by city or region, referring site, device type, and browser. This is used to understand which pages are read and where visitors arrive from. It is not used to identify anyone.
From the server. The web host records standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
The site does not collect financial information, government identity numbers, or any of the categories that require additional protection. Enquiry forms should not be used to send passport details, identity documents or payment information. Travelidea’s visa and travel services are handled separately from this website, under Travelidea’s own terms.
Why it is collected
Enquiry data is processed to respond to a request the person made — without it, the enquiry cannot be answered. Email list data is processed on the basis of consent given at the point of subscription, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time. Analytics and server logs are processed for the legitimate purposes of running, securing and improving the site.
Personal data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. It is not used to build profiles for advertising.
How long it is kept

Third-party services
The site uses the following services. Each has its own privacy policy, and personal data passing through them is governed by it as well as by this one.

Some of these providers are outside India and will process data on servers in other countries, including the United States and the European Union.
Cookies
The site sets cookies needed to make pages work, and analytics cookies that measure traffic. Analytics cookies can be refused in the browser settings without affecting how the site functions.
Access, correction and deletion
Anyone whose data is held can ask to:
- see what is held about them
- have anything inaccurate corrected
- have it deleted
- withdraw consent to marketing emails
- take their data elsewhere in a portable form
Requests go to hello@tushartayal.com with enough detail to locate the record — the email address used, and roughly when the enquiry or subscription was made. Requests are answered within 30 days. There is no charge.
Every marketing email also carries an unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately and needs no explanation.
Where data has to be kept for a legal or accounting obligation, that will be said plainly in the reply, along with what is being kept and for how long.
Asking for data to be deleted
Write to hello@tushartayal.com with the email address used and roughly when the enquiry or subscription was made. Requests are answered within 30 days, and there is no charge.

Data is held in the services listed above, reached through accounts protected by passwords and, where the provider supports it, two-factor authentication. No website can promise perfect security, and this one does not. If a breach affects personal data, affected people and the relevant authority will be notified as the law requires.
Children
The site is aimed at organisations and professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and data is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. Where a school or university arranges a session, the arrangements are made with the institution, not with students directly.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Substantive changes affecting how existing data is used will be sent to the email list before taking effect.
