Tushar Tayal is an entrepreneur, keynote speaker and leadership trainer, working with chambers of commerce, industry bodies, universities and business schools, corporate leadership programmes, startup ecosystems and leadership organisations. He has represented India or Travelidea in thirteen countries across five continents, and joins India’s delegation to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit in Vienna, September 2026.

He speaks on three subjects: India’s mobility deficit, the uncounted cost of moving an Indian passport-holder across a border; what transfers when a company is built internationally from outside the metros; and ambition without self-abandonment, which he writes on as The Capitalist Monk.

Three sessions

India's Mobility Deficit

Trade policy counts tariffs to two decimal places. It does not count what it costs an Indian passport-holder to reach the meeting: the fee, the wait, the paperwork, the flight to a biometric centre in another state, the refusal that gives no reason. That behaves like a non-tariff barrier, falling hardest on those furthest from the embassies — where India expects its growth.

Building Global From a Small City

Travelidea was founded in Tezpur in 2018, when Tushar was seventeen. It now runs a team of 70 across Assam and Dubai, and was recognised by Startup India in April 2024. Distance from a metro changes what a founder can assume about hiring, client trust and being taken seriously in a first meeting. Only some of those constraints are real; the rest are habits.

Tushar writes as The Capitalist Monk on building something substantial without disappearing into it. The session separates the discipline that compounds from the depletion that merely resembles it.

Training

Training is commissioned separately from keynotes, and built differently. Tushar is a JCI Zone Trainer, qualified through JCI’s trainer development programme. As Vice President – Training at JCI Tezpur Shine he led EPS 2025 for more than twenty participants, and he has run leadership programmes reaching over 400 students across eight schools.

A workshop runs half a day or a full day for one cohort. A session series runs across several weeks, so participants apply the material between sessions and return with their own cases. Learning teams commission these for managers moving into international roles, for teams handling cross-border clients, and for leadership pipelines. Content is written against the organisation’s situation beforehand, from a briefing call.

Tushar Tayal is an Indian entrepreneur, keynote speaker and leadership trainer, originally from Tezpur and based between Assam and Dubai. He is the founder and CEO of Experience Travelidea, a visa and corporate travel consultancy with a team of 70, and part of India’s delegation to the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance Summit 2026 in Vienna. In 2025 he became the youngest Indian, and only the second ever, to complete the JCI Grand Slam. He was placed Top 30 in JCI’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World in 2024, and Top 10 in India in 2023. He took the Most Powerful Speaker Award at Speechcraft 2025 and the Best Communicator Award at JCI ABLE North in 2024. He graduated valedictorian in BBA (Finance) from SP Jain School of Global Management in 2023.
